Tadic aiming to thrive under pressure

Southampton playmaker Dusan Tadic is ready to play a big part in helping his side secure their status in the Premier League for next season, as reported by the club’s official website.

Tadic played a vital role against Bournemouth last weekend as he scored two goals to give Saints a boost in their bid to stay up this season, with the hosts securing a vital 2-1 win.

The Saints players and fans were united last weekend and this will be needed once again if they are to pick up a positive result against Everton on Saturday evening.

Saints are one point adrift of Swansea in 17th position and have offered themselves a lifeline after looking dead and buried before last weekend’s results.

Tadic is in fine form after netting three goals in his last three starts and is set to play a key role again this weekend.

The midfielder spoke about how he intends to thrive from the fans’ support and lead Saints to survival:

The supporters gave us extra energy and they screamed more than ever before. It was a win for everyone, the fans, the players, the guys on the touchline, the whole club.

You can feel immediately in the training that it is a better environment after a victory, sometimes we play well and don’t win so you feel something is missing. On Saturday we got everything, the result and the points.

People from my country are more emotional and we don’t think about what we are doing; everything you do is from the heart and that’s it. We just want to win games and when you do, you want to enjoy the moment.
