Club Brugge striker, Anthony Limbombe has been linked with a move to Southampton following previous links to Championship side Leeds United, according to Belgian news outlet HLN, as translated by Sport Witness.
Huddersfield are also interested in the player despite his underwhelming record, which lies at six goals in 49 games since he signed for the club in 2016.
A number of clubs in France have expressed a strong interest in the player but it’s thought that the player wouldn’t be interested in making a move to a club that could eventually succumb to relegation ahead of next season.
The player’s preference would be a move to Germany but, as of yet, no clubs have apparently shown much of an interest in him from the Bundesliga.
Limbombe cost the Belgian side €2m two years ago and the club would be looking to make a profit on him with his talent being noticed by many across Europe.
