Southampton defender Maya Yoshida has asked for his side to forget the FA Cup result against Chelsea and solely focus on the upcoming Premier League games, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Saints lost their semi-final in the FA Cup on Sunday but now face some more important games, with the team four points adrift in the relegation zone and with just four games left to play in the league.
The Saints still have to face Bournemouth, Swansea City, Everton and Manchester City and will know that they desperately need to start winning games.

This is likely to be a struggle, with the side winning just five games in the league to this point. Saints are now relying on other teams to do them favours whilst also picking up their own results.
It’s been a very tough season for everyone involved but Yoshida is keen for his side to look forward to the final games:
We all know about the game against Bournemouth. It is going to be crucial for us. We have to make sure we get three points.
It’s a home game and a derby, we have to fight to stay in the Premier League. We’ve finished with the FA Cup and now we must focus on the Premier League and staying up.
