Southampton currently find themselves in a difficult position in the Premier League, placed 18th in the table and two points behind Saturday’s opponents West Ham United.
It’s been a tricky campaign for Saints, but midfielder James Ward-Prowse has called for the team to stick together, whilst hailing the influence of Mark Hughes following the Welshman’s arrival this month.
Ward-Prowse seen the team improve year on year since being involved in the first team and has now made over 150 appearances for the club since his debut against Coventry in 2011.

The club recently sacked Mauricio Pellegrino before their FA Cup tie at Wigan, with former Stoke City boss Hughes appointed with the ultimate aim of helping to keep the club in the division.
He has spoken of the impact that Hughes has brought since his arrival in a recent interview with NBC Sports.
For us, we are a good team, and confidence wise over the last few weeks we’ve maybe not been at it but he’s encouraged us to take risks and he has reminded us of the quality that we have got.
The training sessions have been intense, they’ve been sharp and there’s been a purpose. It is very exciting looking forward for us.
