Lazio, Sampdoria and Torino have joined Bologna in the race to sign Manolo Gabbiadini from Southampton, according to reports in Italy.
After starting his Saints career with a bang, Gabbiadini has scored just four Premier League goals in 25 appearances and has only played the full 90 minutes in three league games all season.
After going completely off the boil under Mauricio Pellegrino, the 26-year-old will be hoping to get back into some type of form under Mark Hughes, although he did have a penalty saved at the weekend against Wigan.

If the Saints are relegated, its seems certain that Gabbiadini will return to his homeland but if the south coast side survive the drop and Hughes is kept on a long-term deal, the Italian could choose to stay.
Hughes seems keen to use two strikers in a 4-4-2 formation for the Saints, which will allow Gabbiadini more game time. Whether that’s enough to keep him at St Mary’s remains to be seen.
