Southampton have drawn Wigan or Manchester City in the quarter finals of the FA Cup following this evenings draw.
The Saints reached the last eight courtesy of a 2-1 victory over West Brom thanks to goals from Wesley Hoedt and Dusan Tadic.
Salomon Rondon scored a stunning volley for the Saints but they held onto claim a much-needed victory.
The win takes Saints into their first FA Cup 1/4 final since 2005 having struggled in the competition in recent seasons.
The tie will take place in the weekend of the 17th/18th March with a date of the tie still to be confirmed.
Wigan and Manchester City come face to face on Monday evening to discover whose Saints opponents will be.
Saints are in a difficult position at present in the Premier League sitting in 18th position and so an FA Cup run isn’t at the top of their priority this season despite performing well in the recent cup games.
