Southampton face a stern test on Sunday as they host free-scoring Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
Mauricio Pellegrino’s side are without a win from their last 10 league outings and with the club in a worrying position, the squad will be desperate to turn things around.
Tottenham, though, are unbeaten in five and have netted 46 times so far this season. The formidable quartet of Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Son Heung-Min and Christian Eriksen have been in sublime form as of late and will be sure to give Saints some defensive problems come Sunday.
Last time these two sides met, Southampton were swept aside as Mauricio Pochettino’s team came out on top, as they won 5-2 at Wembley.

Spurs’ main threat is undoubtedly striker Harry Kane. The 24-year-old has been in exceptional from recently, and deservedly won the Premier League Player of the Month award for December.
Kane became Tottenham’s all-time Premier League top goalscorer in last weekend’s 4-0 demolition of Everton and is showing no signs of easing up in his ruthless streak.
