Southampton are in Premier League action again this weekend, as they prepare to face managerless Everton on Sunday.
After a 3-0 drubbing away to Liverpool last weekend, Saints will be hoping to get back on track against the Toffees, who have recently been uninspiring themselves.
David Unsworth’s side will need to bounce back after they were thrashed 5-1 at Goodison Park against Serie A outfit Atalanta in the Europa League on Thursday.
Southampton’s Oriol Romeu is suspended for the clash, with fellow midfielder Mario Lemina facing a race against time to be fit after spending a month out with an ankle injury.
Everton will be without striker Oumar Niasse, who became the first player in the Premier League to be banned retrospectively for diving, following the Merseyside club’s 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace. There are also doubts over defender Phil Jagielka and former Saints midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, who are both nursing minor injuries.
But where could this game could be won or lost for Saints? I take a look.
