Fresh from a narrow victory over West Brom last weekend, Southampton travel to face Brighton at the Amex Stadium.
Both sides come into the match with a similar points haul as the Saints sit just one point above their hosts, in what is looking like being a crucial encounter.
Following promotion, Brighton currently sit in 12th place in the Premier League after claiming a vital win at the London stadium against West Ham United last Friday night.
The most recent meeting between the two at the Amex Stadium was a day to forget for the Saints as they fell to a 3-0 defeat on the road back in 2012.

Saints lined up strongly, but couldn’t claim a scalp over their south coast neighbours:
Davis, Richardson, Martin, Hooiveld, Harding, Cork, Hammond, Lallana, Lambert, Connolly, Do Prado
It was a fixture that the hosts dominated throughout the first-half but were unable to take any of their opportunities. Saints tried to combat the dangerous Brighton side, which at that point were also vying to gain promotion to the Premier League.
It took the hosts until the second half and the 66th minute to take the lead as Jake Foster-Caskey converted to send his side into a deserved lead. Two more goals then quickly followed in the 76th and 86th minute as Matt Sparrow netted a brace to secure a victory for his side and take the bragging rights.

Both teams were also reduced to 10 men on the day, as Brighton centre-back Gordon Greer was dismissed late on. Saints forward Rickie Lambert was also given his marching orders with a peculiar straight red.
As long ago as it was, the Saints will need to put in a much better performance than the club did on that occasion if they are to come out of the game with anything.
