Southampton haven’t made the ideal start to the new Premier League season but they’ll look to get moving in a positive direction clash against a Crystal Palace side who have had plenty of their own issues.
Fresh off the back of a 2-0 loss to Watford at St Mary’s, Maurico Pellegrino’s men will be hoping to wipe the slate clean and get a much needed win at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
Crystal Palace, who are yet to register a goal this season, sit at the foot at the table, with four defeats from four games. The Eagles relieved Frank de Boer of his duties just 77 days into the job and have brought in former England boss Roy Hodgson to replace him.
We’re all looking forward to the game, but what happened last time Saints traveled to Palace? I’ve taken a look.

Claude Puel’s side took to the field in early December to face a Palace side whose manager, Alan Pardew, was under increasing pressure.
It was an afternoon to forget for Saints in South London as the Eagles took the three points with a 3-0 victory.
An awful sliced clearance from Fraser Forster allowed Christian Benteke to tap home in the 33rd minute, with James Tomkins prodding in from a corner two minutes later.
The killer blow came in the final stages, with Benteke tapping in a Jason Puncheon cross as Palace earned their first win in eight matches.
Southampton will look to change things this weekend, and get their season back on track against an extremely goal-shy Crystal Palace.
