Southampton welcome Watford to St Mary’s on Saturday in their fourth match of the season and their third on the South Coast.
Both sides have had a good start to the season, with two draws sandwiching a win in both sides’ first three games.
Saints are the third southern club that Watford have played already this season after they took three points from Bournemouth but were held to a goalless draw at home against Brighton. Saints will be well aware of the threats posed by this Watford team, having seen them score three past Liverpool in the first game of the season.
Following the international break, Saints fans will be looking forward to returning to St Mary’s and will expect Mauricio Pellegrino’s men to take all three points from the Hornets.
That’s not to say it will be a walk in the park, and with Marco Silva having some in-form players at his disposal, here’s how I think Watford will line-up on Saturday.
