Southampton full-back Ryan Bertrand has attracted interest from Premier League giants Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City and has told friends that he expects to move this summer, according to the Mirror.
Manchester City are said to be leading the race for the Englishman’s signature after Spaniard manager Pep Guardiola failed to lure Monaco’s full-back Benjamin Mendy to the Etihad Stadium.
Bertrand joined Southampton in 2015 from Chelsea for a modest fee of £10m as he was looking for first team football and he has got what he desired at the St Mary’s as the 27-year-old made 28 Premier League appearances for the club this season and was one of the first names on the team sheet for manager Claude Puel.
However, Bertrand is now looking for a new challenge and has told his friends that he is open to a transfer this summer.

Now Chelsea are interested in bringing him back to Stamford Bridge as Antonio Conte looks to add depth to his squad as they look to challenge in all competitions next season.
Bertrand loves to get up the left-wing and support the winger and got on the scoresheet twice in the Premier League this season, while also registering four assists.
Liverpool were keen on Bertrand’s teammate Virgil Van Dijk but that move seems to have fallen through, which has turned Jurgen Klopp’s attention to Bertrand as the German looks for a proper left-back for his team.
