Southampton travel to Stamford Bridge to face league leaders Chelsea on Tuesday.
Antonio Conte’s men lost their last Premier League game 2-0 to Manchester United at Old Trafford and haven’t been at their best in recent weeks despite winning three of their last five games, but are still the favourites for the Premier League title.
Southampton are coming into the game off the back of a 3-0 loss to a far superior Manchester City side and must get something out of this game against Chelsea if they want to stay in the top half of the table.
Chelsea are being chased by the impressive Tottenham Hotspur, who have won all of their last seven games in the Premier League and have narrowed the gap at the top to just four points, so Conte’s side will need to win against Saints if they want to regain their dominance at the top.
