Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk has been attracting a lot of interest in the last few months, and it looks as though Real Madrid are the latest to join the chase.
According to a report from the Times, the Dutchman has been catching the eye of Real and they could make a move when the summer transfer window opens.
Van Dijk has cemented himself as one of the best defenders in the Premier League this season and the interest in his services has not eased up after suffering a long-term injury back in January.

The report states that Liverpool have made the 25-year-old their top target ahead of the summer, with Saints looking set to demand a fee of around £50 million for their key man.
Real Madrid may be keen to find a replacement for Pepe, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
Given van Dijk’s performances in the last couple of seasons, he certainly wouldn’t look out of place in the Real shirt.
