Southampton face FC Twente this evening in Claude Puel’s third game as manager in a pre-season friendly match.
The Saints have a fully fit 28-man squad to pick from after Dusan Tadic looks to have shaken off a knock which ruled him out of last Saturday’s friendly against PEC Zwolle, which Saints comfortably won 4-0.
Cuco Martina and Tadic return to face their former teams, however, the game won’t be played at Twente’s normal ground; instead it will take place at the home of KVV Quick ’20, who Saints beat 10-0 last pre-season.
Many young players will be looking to catch the eye of new Saints boss Puel and force themselves into the Frenchman’s plans for the upcoming campaign.
Also returning for Saints are the quartet of Fraser Forster, Ryan Bertrand, Shane Long and Steven Davis after they joined up with the squad just over a week ago, following the UEFA European Championships.
Here are five players you should look out for in tomorrow’s game.
