Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster has said that it is important that everyone needs to focus as domestic football restarts following the international break.
Speaking to saintsfc.co.uk Forster said that it is important all of Saints internationals regain their focus and that an extra day to prepare because they play on Sunday, can only be positive.
I think this time we play on the Sunday, so it gives us an extra day, which can only benefit us. Then it’s important that we switch on and do what we can to come out of Sunday with a positive result. We’ve got a lot of internationals, so it’ll be important for people to return and focus straight away.
Forster also denied that he spoke to Leicester’s Jamie Vardy, whom he was with whilst on international duty. Vardy scored in both games, but Forster will hope to put an end to his scoring streak.
I didn’t say anything to Jamie, no

He also stated the fact that Leicester will not be an easy side to beat, and spoke about Saints gameplan as to how they think they can stop Claudio Ranieri’s men.
Leicester are obviously going really well and it’s just a case of preparing as well as we can over the next few days. Then we will go there and try to stop them playing the way they have been.
Southampton are currently 7th in the Premier League, and aiming for Europa League qualification. Seventh place would become a qualification place should the FA Cup be won by someone who has already secured qualification.
