When a team is top of the league by five points with just weeks to go, it’s not usually very difficult to spot what threats to look out for. However, spotting the threats and actually stopping them are two very different things.
And you don’t exactly need to be a Premier League football scout to spot the dangers in this Leicester team, considering it’s almost impossible to turn on the TV without someone mentioning that Jamie Vardy was playing non-league football four years ago.
It’ll be up to Ronald Koeman to figure out a plan to keep Leicester quiet, which is a task almost no side this season has managed to figure out. But one positive to take from the size of the task is that all the pressure is on the hosts. While Leicester are chasing possibly the biggest achievement in the history of British football, Southampton still have ambitions for the end of the season as they look to sneak into Europe.
