Full-back Ryan Bertrand and Italian striker Graziano Pelle have both returned to full training and are available to be selected for Wednesday’s clash against Watford, Ronald Koeman, Southampton’s manager has confirmed.
English international Bertrand has recovered from his illness which saw him sit out Saturday’s FA Cup tie against Crystal Palace. Graziano Pelle, on the other hand, has recovered from his knee injury which has seen him sit out Saints’ previous four matches, with his last outing coming in the form of the 2-0 home defeat against Tottenham Hotspur.

The news of the return of these two crucial players has been very refreshing for Saints’ fans after being undoubtedly missed and could be the key to success for the home encounter against the Hornets on Wednesday.
Koeman on Bertrand:
Ryan is back. He was ill last Saturday, but he had Sunday and he was in on Monday, and he was nearly 100 per cent. He did the session this morning and that’s no problem for tomorrow.
On Pellè, Koeman added:
Graziano is doing well, he’s back in the squad for tomorrow and that’s positive.
Could the addition of these two vital players mean a change of fortune for Southampton’s upcoming games?
