Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is looking forward to returning to St Mary’s to face Southampton this weekend.
The Argentinian manager was in charge of the Saints for the 2013-14 season, leading them to an eight-placed finish in the Premier League, before being lured away by Spurs in the close-season; the men from White Hart Lane finished sixth in the league that season, thirteen points ahead of Pochettino’s Southampton side.

Speaking to Tottenham Hotspur’s official website (via Saintsfc.co.uk), Pochettino said:
“At St Mary’s the supporters push a lot, we know that,”
“They have one of the best squads in the Premier League and they have a very good manager.
“So we need to be very focused and concentrate on the game because they have very good players.”
Spurs went unbeaten from their second league game this season up until last weekend’s home game against Newcastle United, and find themselves in fifth place in the Premier League, just five points ahead of Ronald Koeman’s Southampton, who themselves has lost five league games this season.
The game between Koeman and Pochettino’s sides takes place at 3 o’ clock on Saturday afternoon.
Also returning to St Mary’s with Spurs for the game is Belgian centre-back Toby Alderweireld. Toby joined the North London side from Atletico Madrid this summer, having spent the 2014-15 season on loan at Southampton from the Spanish side.
