Arsenal have made the first move for Southampton and Liverpool target Jorginho, according to footballfancast.com.
The 23 year-old has been the subject of interest from The Saints after emerging as one of the brightest stars in Seria A due to his recent performances.
Boss Ronald Koeman will be looking to add strength in-depth come January as his side compete for their highest ever Premier League finish.
But the Napoli midfielder’s agent has confirmed Arsene Wenger has sent his scouts to have a look at the Brazilian.
Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos has revealed the North London club have been keeping a close eye on his development.
“One of the head scouts for Arsenal is well-known, and so I know he was at Maresi for the Napoli match,” Santos said.
Napoli are believed to have put a £22 million price tag on the young midfielder, with reports suggesting he is also open to a move away from Italy.
Jorginho has featured 13 times for Maurizio Sarri’s side this campaign.
