According to the daily mail, Southampton may have a battle on their hands to keep hold of manager Ronald Koeman, with the possibility of a potential vacancy in his national sides hot seat becoming more and more likely
Holland are no longer able to qualify automatically for next summers Euro 2016 and if Turkey win in the last group game away, then Holland will miss out on the play offs, leaving current boss Danny Blind under substantial pressure.
And Southampton, knowing full well the chance of managing your own country is too much of an opportunity to turn down, are bracing themselves for an inevitable approach from Holland should Blind be relieved of his duties.
Keoman is reportedly very much settled at St. Marys. After shaking off their nervy start to the Premier League season which included a 3-1 victory at Stamford Bridge in their last outing. However Saints officials are eager to tie Koeman down for the long-term.
With the Dutch national side in a state of turmoil under Blind, the fear on the south coast is that Koeman will not say no should an offer arise for the 54-year old.
Holland will crash out of Euro 2016 qualification if Turkey beat holders Iceland on Wednesday, regardless of their result against Czech Republic.
