Southampton will be looking to progress to the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup when they face Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
The Saints are currently on a treacherous run of form and have won just one game in the Premier League so far this season, as they sit dangerously low in 18th place.
Mark Hughes’ side have performed well in the League Cup, however, and have reached this stage courtesy of narrow wins against fellow top-flight competitors Brighton and Hove Albion and Everton.
Leicester have overseen a mixed start to the season and with inconsistency still prevailing, Claude Puel’s position at the club remains under scrutiny.
Both managers are expected to field respectively weakened, rotated sides in this fixture as the thirst for points in the Premier League continues to take priority.
The winner of this clash will welcome Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup.
Here’s how we think Saints will line up on Tuesday night.
