Southampton play host to Arsenal on Sunday. The Gunners will be looking to bounce back to winning ways after last week’s 3-1 defeat at home to Manchester United.
Saints, on the other hand, return to action at St Mary’s for the first time since an impressive 4-1 win at home to Everton following a loss and a draw away to Manchester City and Bournemouth respectively.
Arsenal have always found St Mary’s a tricky hunting ground, only managing to beat the Saints once on the south coast since their return to the top flight. That came at the end of last season, when Claude Puel and Southampton stuttered to an ugly end of the season.
Ahead of the fixture we have taken to the imagination game and created the strongest line up if the two sides were to combine, with the formation being a 3-4-2-1.
So, without further ado, take a look at our combined Saints and Arsenal line-up.
