Southampton have officially confirmed the signing of Norwich City winger Nathan Redmond on a five-year contract.
Redmond joins from Championship side Norwich City on a five-year deal, for a fee thought to start at £8m – rising to £11m with add-ons. These clauses are likely to be dependent on future England caps and Champions League appearances.

Norwich City were relegated from the Premier League last season, finishing 19th in the league. This has led to Redmond wanting to leave and join the Saints, who will be playing in the Premier League and Europa League next season.
We first broke the news of Southampton’s enquiry about Redmond last month, with the winger now finally completing his move to the club. Redmond had just one year on his Norwich contract, with many other Premier League clubs having been beaten by Southampton to his signature.
Redmond will link up with his new teammates when Southampton return to pre-season training next week.
