Southampton have made an enquiry about the availability of Norwich City winger Nathan Redmond, we understand.
Norwich manager Alex Neil revealed at the relegated club’s awards dinner that eight clubs from the Premier League have made enquiries for the winger and we understand that Southampton are one of these clubs interested.
The Canaries have been relegated from the Premier League this season and so are likely to offload some of their better players looking to stay in the top-flight. Redmond has just one year left on his Norwich contract and looks the most likely to depart Carrow Road this summer.
Southampton have only enquired about Redmond so far, with the club having been interested in the Englishman for a very long time. Ronald Koeman is looking to strengthen his wide areas for next season, especially with Europa League football and Redmond could be a very good option to have in the squad.
