According to recent reports from local journalists, Southampton have ruled out pursuing their reported interest in Manuel Pellegrini and Jurgen Klinsmann.
It was widely believed prior to this news that Pellegrini was under serious consideration from Saints’ board and was one option that was largely in line to become the next manager.
However, given the emerging news, the talk surrounding the 62-year-old Chilean tactician has now been quashed and it’s looking as though he will not be the man to take Southampton forward.

Southampton will continue their search for a new manager to take them forward into the 2016/17 season and beyond, however, that man will not be Manuel Pellegrini or Jurgen Klinsmann.
