Southampton host Liverpool in the Premier League at St. Mary’s in the televised fixture on Sunday.

The Saints come into the game off the back of a much needed win against West Brom last weekend.

Goals from Mario Lemina, Jack Stephens and James Ward-Prowse earned Southampton the three points, ending a run of 12 Premier League matches without a win.

The return of Virgil Van Dijk is set to cause tension, with the Dutchman set to start on his first return to Southampton since joining Liverpool for £75m in January.

Club-record signing Guido Carrillo is still searching for his first goal for the club, after making his first start against West Brom.

Carrillo joined Southampton for £19m from Monaco in January and is expected to make his full home debut against Liverpool.

There are no major injury concerns for Southampton to contend with coming into the match.

Here is how we expect the Saints to line up…
