Fiorentina are stepping up their attempts to sign Southampton striker Manolo Gabbiadini in January.
According to Football Italia, Fiorentina are now in advanced talks over a deal for Gabbiadini next month.
Gabbiadini has not had a chance to impress under Ralph Hasenhuttl so far, with Danny Ings and Charlie Austin amongst the goals recently.

The Italian forward is behind Ings, Austin, Michael Obafemi and Shane Long in the pecking order at St. Mary’s.
Bologna, CSKA Moscow and Spartak Moscow are also said to be interested in Gabbiadini, but Fiorentina are the favourites as it stands.
Football Italia claim that Gabbiadini wants a move back to the Serie A, after joining Southampton from Napoli in January 2017.
Gabbiadini has scored 12 goals in 55 games for Southampton, with only one goal in ten games so far this season.
