Newcastle have joined Southampton in the race to sign Toulouse defender Christopher Jullien this summer.
Journalist Manu Lonjon claims that Newcastle are planning to battle for Jullien, with Southampton also interested.

Toulouse are set to let go of a number of players this summer as they look to reshape their squad over the next few months.
Southampton are on the lookout for a new central defender, but may have to beat Newcastle if they want to secure Jullien this summer.
Jullien is thought to be eying up a move to the Premier League this summer, as he looks to push on in his career.
There have also been reports that Toulouse want a fee in the region of €10m for the central defender.
