Southampton keen on Adams move
Southampton are reportedly keen on making a move to sign Birmingham striker Che Adams this summer.
According to a report from the newspaper version of the Sunday Mercury, as cited in a report by HITC, Saints are one of several clubs taking an interest in the forward.
It’s stated by the Mercury that the recruitment team at St Mary’s have had their eye on Adams for some time now, with their scouting of the striker dating as far back as early 2016 before his move to St Andrew’s.
The 20-year-old has always been tipped for a big future, having impressed at a very young age with Sheffield United.
He enjoyed a relatively fruitful maiden campaign with Birmingham, finding the net on seven occasions and impressing throughout the course of the season.
Adams is reportedly being eyed up by both Leicester and Stoke, but no official bid is stated to be on the table from potential suitors.
