Southampton travel away to face Tottenham on Sunday as they look to extend their good run of Premier League form.
The Saints have won their last two Premier League matches – scoring eight goals in the process.
Claude Puel’s men beat Watford 4-3 and Sunderland 4-0. Both of these matches came away from home, where Southampton will be going tomorrow.
Southampton will travel to White Hart Lane as they play a Spurs side who will be without top scorer Harry Kane.
Kane, who has scored three hat-tricks in 2017, will miss the match with a ligament injury he sustained against Millwall in the FA Cup last weekend.
However, Spurs have more than capable replacements. Heung-Min Son is expected to line up in his place, after he scored three against Millwall in the same game.
Both Southampton and Tottenham have an abundance of talent in their squad and here is our combined XI…
Hugo Lloris
Is there any question? Lloris over Forster every day of the week…
Kyle Walker
Although Cedric has been impressive this season, Walker is on another level. Arguably the best in the league for his position.
Toby Alderweireld
Best centre back in the division. No doubt.
Jan Vertonghen
Van Dijk would be in this spot but due to his injury, Vertonghen is the obvious pick.
Ryan Bertrand
With Danny Rose injured, Bertrand is easily the best left-back out of the two sides. Possibly even better than Rose anyway.
Mousa Dembele
One of the best players to watch in the league. Glides past players on the ball as if they are not there. Exceptional talent.
Oriol Romeu
Romeu has replaced Victor Wanyama at Southampton this season and that is who he gets in the team over.
The Spaniard has been a rock for the Saints.
Christian Eriksen
Eriksen has hit form this season and easily makes this side.
Dele Alli
Linked to Real Madrid and banging in the goals for Spurs. Was James Ward-Prowse going to get in the team over him?
Dusan Tadic
Tadic is starting to get back to his best since the start of 2017 and beats Nathan Redmond to this slot in the team.
Manolo Gabbiadini
With Harry Kane out it had to be Gabbiadini. The forward has scored six goals in four matches since signing from Napoli. Unreal form.
