# Southampton tracking Andre Gray

Southampton are reportedly one of many clubs interested in Burnley striker Andre Gray.

According to a report this evening from [The Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/string-clubs-andre-gray-transfer-9965650), Saints are joined by a string of teams in monitoring Gray’s contract situation at Turf Moor and could be tempted to make a move for the striker in the summer.

The Clarets forward scored two today in his side’s 3-2 defeat away at Swansea City, continuing his impressive form upon his maiden season in the Premier League.

Much has been made about Saints’ attacking options this season but the signing of Manolo Gabbiadini has given them a boost, with the Italian international managing to bag an unbelievable six goals in his first three games.

Burnley will not want to lose their key striker this summer as they look to build on what has been a very good first season back in the top flight, so Gray could cost a considerable sum of money.
