According to a recent report from Italian news outlet Corriere Dello Sport, Everton are lining up a move for reported Southampton target Manolo Gabbiadini.
The Italian striker was linked with a January move to the south coast last week, with a report stating that Saints were prepared to make a bid for the Napoli man worth up to €18 million.
However, it looks as though Saints’ familiar foe Ronald Koeman is also looking to add firepower to his ranks when the winter transfer window opens, with Gabbiadini emerging as a striking target.

Both Saints and Everton have been finding it difficult to find the net as much as they would have liked in recent times and it should come as no surprise to see both clubs actively scouting Europe to find new attacking talent.
The report claims that The Toffees will make a move worth €20 million for Gabbiadini, which is also claimed to be €10 million less than what they offered for the Italy international in the summer.
Due to the excellent form of Arek Milik upon his maiden season in Naples prior to his injury, along with Dries Mertens’ superb displays as of late, Gabbiadini has found himself on the bench more often than not at the Serie A side.
