# Southampton 2-0 Watford – Rating the Saints

Southampton earned a much-needed victory over Watford on Wednesday evening as they bagged an all important win after a run of three straight consecutive losses.

The win was a hugely special one for all associated with the club, due to the return of goalkeeper Fraser Forster after his nine-month spell on the sidelines, capped with a comfortable performance and a clean sheet.

Goals in either half from Shane Long and Dusan Tadic sealed the victory for Saints, lifting them to 12th place in the Premier League.

Here is how I rated the performances from Southampton yesterday.
