Saints knocked back by Juventus for Sturaro
Southampton have reportedly seen an offer rejected for Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro.
The 22-year-old has accrued interest from several Premier League sides and Crystal Palace are already thought to have had two bids knocked back by the Turin club earlier this month.
Following the rejection of the two Palace bids; West Ham had a 15m Euros bid rejected by Juventus. Southampton then followed suit by placing a 17m Euros bid for Sturaro, however, that bid was also rejected by Juventus as they want to keep the player.
Sturaro has made 13 starts for Juventus this season and they are certainly unwilling to part with the ex-Genoa enforcer just yet, as they see him in their plan this season and for the future.
It is unknown whether or not West Ham or Southampton will follow-up on their initial bids but Ronald Koeman could see Sturaro as a long-term replacement for the possibly departing Victor Wanyama.
