# Five wingers Southampton should consider signing this month

In the Premier League, the January transfer window is vastly looked upon as a month of signing cheap improvements to bolster a squad and set them up for the remainder of the season. However this year, there is a whole new level of importance.

With the campaign being one of the most unpredictable to date, every single team will need to improve in some way and a team in desperate need of improvement and refreshment is the underwhelming Southampton.

There has been a lack of natural wing-play and pace on the flanks for Saints this season, who find themselves without a specifically suited right midfielder in their side.

I will be taking a look at some players that Southampton should be looking at this window.
