# Fiorentina eyeing up Pelle

According to [The Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/southampton-star-graziano-pelle-targeted-7125515?), Serie A side Fiorentina are ready to make a move for Graziano Pelle from Southampton.

The deal does, however, hinge on whether or not they sell Khouma Babacar to Southampton’s Premier League rivals Crystal Palace this month. If this deal goes through then Fiorentina would be interested in bringing Pelle into the club.

The 30-year-old striker has scored nine goals in all competitions so far this season for Southampton but has missed the last few matches with injury and had not been in the best of form before his injury.

Saints manager Ronald Koeman has made it clear that none of his star players will be leaving the club this month and so it is unlikely that Fiorentina would be able to prize Pelle away from England, not until the Summer at least.

Koeman has said he may sign a striker this month to compete with Pelle, and potentially add the quality to allow Pelle to leave next summer.
