# Saints eyeing England under-21 international

Southampton are [reportedly](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/southampton-plan-75m-transfer-raid-6930509?) very keen on Brighton winger Solly March.

The England under-21 international has been in fantastic form this season as Brighton have already put themselves in the automatic promotion places in the Championship.

Koeman was thought to have wanted him when he first joined the Saints but opted against it due to his lack of experience playing first team football at Brighton. However, he now has that experience and has been crucial to Brighton’s success this season; netting his third of the season at the weekend.

Brighton are currently the only team with an unbeaten record in the Championship and sit plump at the top of the second tier so it would be very hard to convince them to sell one of their big stars; March.

Yet, the 21-year-old is thought to have a price tag in the region of £7.5m. This is a fee Brighton may be willing to take to part ways with the talented youngster and let him move to the Premier League.
