Southampton are thought to be keen on a deal to sign Milwall ‘keeper Jordan Archer.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper is currently at Milwall in League One having joined the club from Premier League side Tottenham in the summer. However, his fine displays between the sticks for The Lions this season has attracted the attentions of some of England’s bigger clubs.

Both Southampton and Everton are interested in his signature in the near future as he is very highly-rated in League one. He has played 18 times this season and kept seven clean sheets which is impressive for a side that is not known for their defensive prowess after being relegated from the Championship last season.
Southampton currently have Maarten Stekelenburg in-goal, on-loan from Fulham, yet have Fraser Forster to return from injury. Archer may be a good signing for the future though and give Koeman another option in the long run for the Saints.
