Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has once again reaffirmed his desire to keep Sadio Mane and other key stars at the club during the January transfer window.
The winter window opens in just over a month and there has already been much talk of Mane departing. Both Chelsea and Manchester United have been credited with interest in the Senegal international as they look to add attacking threat to their squads.

It has also been reported that Southampton are weighing up a new contract for Mane so that they can lure him into committing his future to the side. Yet it remains to be seen whether Mane would entertain the thought of a new deal.
However, Koeman has spoken of his certainty that he will not sell his star players. It is a stance that he adopted towards the end of the summer window following speculation regarding Mane and Victor Wanyama and their Saints futures.
Rumours aren’t important: we will sell nobody.
You can ask again about Sadio, Man United, Chelsea, but we will sell nobody in January.
