There have been reports that Saints winger Sadio Mane is set for new contract talks following speculation about his future.
The Senegal international has been in fine form this season for Southampton and has attracted interest from a few big sides in the Premier League. Just recently, reigning champions Chelsea were added to the list of potential suitors alongside Manchester United.

Louis Van Gaal enquired about Mane coming to United in the summer but that was met with an abrupt in his interest due to Koeman’s insistence on keeping his key players at the club after he had already sold Nathaniel Clyne to Liverpool and Morgan Schneiderlin to Manchester United.
Koeman will be desperate to keep Mane and it looks like offering him a new contract is the way that he is going to do it. It is yet to be seen whether Chelsea or United will match Mane’s valuation in January but a new contract would certainly ward off vultures for the near future.
