# Southampton vs Stoke – Predicting the team

Southampton are set to face their 13th match of the season this Saturday as they gear up to face the tough task of defeating Stoke City at home.

After an international break overshadowed by events elsewhere, Southampton will regroup and prepare to defeat Mark Hughes’ side in what promises to be a close affair between two strong teams.

Southampton will be relieved that the apparent injury to Virgil van Dijk was minor as the Dutchman is set to start for The Saints, whilst Victor Wanyama returns from his one-match suspension and Shane Long will return after a few weeks out due to an ankle injury.
