Manchester United boss Louis Van Gaal has been linked with a January move for Saints striker Graziano Pelle.
The Italian forward has been superb so far this season for the Saints; totting up a tally of nine goals already in all competitions so far this season. Pelle was also recently linked with a move to Italian giants Juventus.
Manchester United have been lacking goals this season in the Premier League and Graziano Pelle has been scoring in abundance so it could be a move that could prove beneficial to the Red Devils.
Van Gaal was also recently linked with a move for Pelle’s Southampton teammate, Sadio Mane. It is very unlikely that United will get both players, with Ronald Koeman insisting in the summer that he was unwilling to let any of his key players leave the club.
This means that United are probably going to be forced to look at other targets.
