United to to return for Mane in Jaunary

Manchester United boss Louis Van Gaal is thought to be weighing a move for either Saints winger Sadio Mane or Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez.

It is thought his interest in a winger comes from the rather disappointing start that Memphis Depay has made to his Manchester United career and Van Gaal would like to bring in wide man reinforcements in the winter window.

Depay, 21, has already been linked with a United exit, with Real Madrid being linked with the Dutch international. However, it seems that Van Gaal wants another winger no matter what happens with Depay and Mane or Mahrez could be his man.

Both Mane and Mahrez have had good starts to the season, Mahrez being significantly better than Mane’s. He has been an integral part of Leicester being in the top four, him and Vardy. Seven Premier League goals already for the winger has made him hot property and hopefully for Southampton fans, Van Gaal goes for him and not Mane.
