Southampton manager Ronald Koeman reportedly sent one of his scouts to go and watch Columbian international Juan Quintero play for Rennes against Ligue 1 giants PSG.
The 22-year-old is at Rennes on a loan deal from his parent club Porto, of whom Southampton tried to sign him from earlier this year.
However, reports are now suggesting that the play-maker could once again be on Ronald Koeman’s radar as he looks to scout out potential January signings to help bolster his squad as they look to push for back to back top eight finishes in the Premier League.

Southampton currently lay seventh in the Premier League and a player like Quintero, who can play on either wing or through the middle, could surely only further aid their chances of finishing in their desired position.
Juan Quintero was linked with a Premier League move to Norwich before he signed for Rennes, showing Saints may not be the only English team that may want to move back in for the Columbian international. His reported valued is£16m and has 13 caps for Columbia.
Would this be a good signing?
