Steven Caulker has been fined £1,000 after a foul-mouthed rant at a doorman in March at the ‘Esher’ venue in London.
The Southampton man, on loan from QPR, was part of a ‘vile’ verbal argument with the doorman after he had asked the 23-year-old to leave the venue.
Although there was no sign of physical violence used from either of them; CCTV footage shows up to seven minutes of abuse from Caulker to the doorman, Carl Evans.

Michael Borelli, who defended Caulker in the case, admitted that the centre half was embarrassed by his earlier actions: “Mr Caulker is obviously extremely embarrassed by this. He regrets it.”
It is thought that alcohol was the cause of the incident, but Caulker has accepted that it is no excuse for his actions.
Caulker has played just one Premier League game for Southampton this season, away at Watford, but has been pushed out of the team by the arrival of Virgil van Dijk.
It is clear that the Englishman has been frustrated with the lack of opportunity he has been given for The Saints, but these actions are, of course unacceptable.
