According to the Mirror, Manchester United are ready to rekindle their interest in Senegal and Southampton winger Sadio Mane.
Manchester United had an approach for the Saints winger rejected in the summer and failed to return with a second attempt for the man who has had a fine start to this season. However, now, Manchester United are reportedly ready to re-enter the race for Mane and go back in for him in January.
Sadio Mane has already had a fantastic start to the season with Southampton. He has scored four and assisted four goals in just eight starts in the Premier League and Capital One Cup so far this season.
Mane also holds the record for the Barclays Premier League’s fastest ever hat-trick after netting his treble in under three minutes towards the end of last season in Southampton’s 6-1 thumping of Tim Sherwood’s Aston Villa.

Ronald Koeman recently stated that it will become very hard to keep Mane if he keeps performing at his current level and that statement could prove true if Manchester United push hard enough to sign Mane in the next transfer window.
