Kenya captain Victor Wanyama enjoyed a comfortable 5-2 victory over Mauritius in the first leg of their 2018 World Cup Qualifier.
Wanyama played the full 90 minutes in the heart of Kenya’s midfield as the African country put themselves in a good position for the second leg of the qualifier, emphatically putting 5 goals past the Mauritius side.
The second leg for Wanyama’s Kenya is on Sunday at 2PM BST, where the Southampton midfielder will hope to spur his nation on to the next round of qualifying.

Wanyama will not be the only one in action, as other Southampton players will be taking part in international duty for their respective countries.
Cedric Soares and Jose Fonte are in contention to feature for Portugal as they face Denmark tomorrow evening, as Dusan Tadic is set to face Albania, with Serbia tomorrow evening. Steven Davis will also be hoping to make history for his nation by taking a step closer to qualifying for Euro 2016 as he captains Northern Ireland for their match against Greece.

Ryan Bertrand will also be part of the England squad that takes on Estonia on Friday evening, and other players will take part for their countries across the weekend, such as Graziano Pelle for Italy.
