Southampton beat reigning Premier League champions Chelsea last weekend in a sensational 3-1 away win for the Saints at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking about the win to Saintsfc.co.uk, Southampton’s Serbian winger Dusan Tadic has said that the side showed what they are all about after their performance on Saturday night.
Dusan Tadic was in fine form against Chelsea and was crucial in helping Southampton pick up their first ever win away at Stamford Bridge since 2002. Tadic did have a good chance to score, however it was blocked. He may not have registered any goals or assists in the game but the winger was excellent throughout in creating chances for himself and others during the game.
“It was a really open game and I think we showed in the second half how we can play good football and in the end we deserved to win,” Tadić said.

“It’s a very good victory for us. You are always going to remember this win. But, we just need to keep doing the same things. This is how we need to play (every week).
“You just need to believe in your skills and your team and I think we showed that,” he continued.
“We have some more chances and we showed in the second half that we want to win and that was the difference.
“The way how we play was really important, because if we keep playing like this we can beat everyone.”
Tadic says that Steven Davis’ goal just before half time was a big turning point in the match and Tadic thinks as long as they play like they did in the second half against Chelsea more this season then they will be fine.
“That was a really important goal,” said Tadić. “He (Koeman) just said to keep doing the things we’ve been doing and don’t give them the space.
“They have some great players, and if you give them a lot of space they can be really dangerous.”
Southampton face Leicester at home after the international break.
