# Soton Bid Not Being Considered by Spanish Club

Acoording to ABC de Sevilla, Europa League winners Sevilla are not even thinking about Southampton’s bid for their midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak. Soton are believed to have made an offer of £8.75 million which is too low according to Sevilla’s valuation of the Polish player.

The 25 year old was signed by Unai Emery from Reims in 2014 and starred in his first season in the La Liga. With Morgan Schneiderlin being reported to be the subjects of bids from various clubs, it seems like Southampton are targeting replacements.

Krychowiak made 82 successful tackles and 96 interceptions in the league.

But after losing Aleix Vidal to FC Barcelona, Sevilla are reluctant to lose another key player.

Even if they receive a sufficient bid, Southampton are to face competition from premier league rivals Arsenal who are also looking to strengthen their midfield. Much may depend on the seriousness of Arsene Wenger’s interest in French international Schneiderlin.
